Academic Office

The Academic Office leads the development and implementation of the policies and processes necessary for a comprehensive quality framework regarding learning and teaching at The American School. The Academic Office supports the Academic Leadership Team in multiple areas to meet student and parent needs.

The Academic Office, in collaboration with the Academic Leadership Team, creates and enforces all academic policies and procedures, manages the academic timetable, approves course offerings, oversees course selection and enrollment, prepares all academic documentation including report cards and official transcripts, oversees examinations and exam operations as well as graduation services. The Academic Office annually publishes three core documents related to the academic operations of the school:

  1. Student-Parent Handbook
  2. Curriculum Guide
  3. Faculty Handbook
